Brian Nault


Mr. Nault is the President and Co-founder of BlueWater, where he leads corporate strategy and business development. Leveraging his 30 years of professional experience in information technology and federal Government contracting, Mr. Nault has led BlueWater for the past 12 years in executing successful service strategies for defense and national security clients. Prior to BlueWater, he worked as an executive manager for the Ford Motor Credit Company and as a senior vice president for American Operations Corporation. Mr. Nault serves on the Board of Directors for the Spinal Research Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to spinal health care research and advocacy. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration.

Erich Mendez

Chief Operating Officer

As the COO of BlueWater, Mr. Mendez is directly responsible for operations and service delivery of all client solutions. He provides a hands-on approach during critical transition and implementation periods to ensure a smooth and seamless continuation of contract services. He previously served as the CEO for Aerient and President for American Operations Corporation, where he built and managed federal business activities in the areas of information technology and network integration. Throughout his 20-year technology career, Mr. Mendez has held additional senior-level and management positions with AT&T, CellularVision, and Metromedia Fiber Networks. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. 

Dan Rice

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Rice, BlueWater’s Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the financial performance of the company and directing the management and operation of finance, accounting, pricing and human resources. He joined Bluewater in March of 2018 after the successful sale of NES Associates, LLC where he was the CFO responsible for management and oversight of the finance, accounting, human resources, IT and security departments. He has a successful track record of integrating finance and operations initiatives and partnering with leadership to drive efficiency, growth, and profitability. Previously, Mr. Rice was the CFO and Vice President, Accounting & Contracts at Project Performance Corporation, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of Profit & Loss and business operations. During his 30+ year professional career he has held senior level financial and operational positions with several recognized companies including Northrop Grumman and Hewlett Packard. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from University of Mary Washington.

Mark Schore

SVP and General Manager, Civ/Health Business Unit

Mr. Schore’s role encompasses the development of integral solutions while identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new opportunities across the federal contracting spectrum. He leverages his 30 years of technical, program, and operational experience to create individualized strategy plans for each client. Mr. Schore served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, where his career spanned worldwide assignments including operations, quality assurance, and program management. Since his retirement from the military, he has served DHS and DoD clients progressively as Program Manager and then Director. Mr. Schore holds a B.S. in Business as well as a CIO Executive Certificate; he is an ITIL-certified Scrum Master and Project Management Professional.  

Pete Brady

Senior Vice President, Corporate Growth

Mr. Brady is responsible for building solutions that combine the precise mix of partners, products, and professional services to meet the dynamic requirements of federal customers. His unparalleled understanding of full lifecycle contract sales and delivery stems from 30 years of leadership experience in planning, integrating, and managing global cybersecurity and technology solutions on four continents as both a U.S. Army Officer and an executive. He previously worked in Government sales and business development for Sprint, ManTech, and Cisco Systems. Mr. Brady holds an M.S. in Telecommunications Engineering. 

Carla Nixon

Vice President, Business Development

Ms. Nixon has over 21 years of experience in the Government contracting space and serves as Director of all BlueWater proposal development activities. Previously, she served as a consultant at a premier DC-area business development consulting firm, driving proposal development efforts for an array of large, mid-size, and small businesses both in the National Capital Region and across the country. She holds a B.A. in English from George Mason University.

Devon Martin

SVP and General Manager, DoD Business Unit

Devon Martin has over 25 years of international and domestic experience supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and the U.S. Department of State (DoS). He has extensive experience in Business Development, Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse and Distribution, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Management, and IT Deployment Management. He earned a BS in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University and an MBA from Virginia Tech.
Devon spends his free time with his wife, Melissa and son, Landon.  Together they enjoy visiting Northern Virginia’s vast selection of wineries, spending time outdoors with family and friends, and cheering on the New England Patriots.

Jada Brink

Director, Contracts

Ms. Brink has over 14 years of experience in the government contracts field and serves as Director of BlueWater’s Contracts Department. Her previous experience includes 10 years as contracts manager at Femme Comp, Inc., a federal government contractor providing systems engineering, cybersecurity, IT services and financial and management solutions. She graduated from George Mason University in 2004 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology and Psychology. Jada enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Omar, and daughter, Laila.
